Googbye 23...Hello24

Today has been the last day of me being a twenty three year old and tomorrow I beckon into the world of twenty four. Twenty four just sounds old, I should have sorted my career, husband and first child out by now but no, I'm still holding onto my own childhood and enjoying what life throws at me. Which is quite a lot of late, I have a funny feeling I am going to become domesticated during my year of being twenty four, moving in with the other half and settling into 'domesticated bliss'. Which for me is quite strange, roll back two years ago and it was what I was running from and here I am unofficially preparing to become a 2 instead of 1. Anyway I shall keep you updated on that one. Plans for tomorrow, same as all birthday plans, alcohol, friends and loved ones because its what makes me happy!

A Ladies handbag ...

Nor it's contents, should not be up for discussion, ever. Whether it be Gucci, DKNY, Chloe, Balenciaga, Jimmy Choo, River Island or Warehouse it is the key to her soul after all (unlike the eyes, which previously thought). The contents carried on a daily basis, which to the opposite sex might seem silly or unnecessary are quite contrary a necessity in day to day living. For me my handbag is like my third, very, large, pocket filled hand, it currently holds the following ...

Purse - money, credit/store/visa cards. rail card, old train tickets.
Keys - various keyrings from various holidays/events, old keys for random holes
Phone - Blackberry, pink silicone sleeve
Gum - Wriggleys white - everyone needs fresh breath
Pack of tissues - clean - you never know what you might need to blow
Hairbrush - because there is wind (hairs greatest enemy!)
Toothbrush - you just never know when you'll wake up somewhere strange
Paracetemol - for the night after one to many (drinks not men)
Perfume - Ricci Ricci, Nina Ricci
3 X Durex Performa Condoms - enough said
Old pack of winegumes - only one remains
Special K breakfast bar - handy snack
Lip Gloss - Creme brulee flavour

All the above, I could not live without! My boyfriend asks why don't you just use your pockets - well with the above, I'd look like a packed out donkey and that is not a good look on anyone! So no matter what the brand, age colour, every woman's handbag is a necessity!

But if you've been in a relationship an awful long time and you were expecting on christmas, new years and valentines day and dropped more than enough hints, fuck it! The most romantic sweet ...

2012

The dust from the New Years celebrations has settled, Valentines has been and gone and I am not looking forward to Easter one little bit, not to mention after that May day and then my BIRTHDAY! (As you can tell I love any reason to break out the cocktail shaker and celebrate ... well any occasion with a Mojito!) Twenty four, twenty bloody four this year, man I'm feeling old and I have yet to achieve my biggest goals this year (move out, get a better job!) But I should be thankful that at least I wasn't single over a) New Years and b) V-Day, I can honestly say instead of crying into a very large glass of Vino watching Bridget Jones Diary, feeling jealous about her having two hot men fighting over her, irrelevant if the Spanx, I was sat in my favorite restaurant in all of Wales (The Bar in Neyland, Milford Haven) wearing a beautiful heart shaped necklace, looking at my very handsome boyfriend, feeling rather smug because in comparison to last year it was quite the step up! But irrelevant of having someone to share these non single holidays, I feel that time is moving too quickly, I didn't actually have time to enjoy the day, after getting ready, packing, spending an hour on a train and then getting a wee bit tipsy, the day was over, but I can honestly say I have never been happier!

I hope all you little rabbits had a good seeing to, I know I did!

Happy 2012 :)

I got my snog off my one and only and multiple orgasms, score! I kicked off the new year recovering with my long distance lover, drinking Champagne all cwtched up, absolute bliss!
