After all I've experienced and learnt from those experiences, you would think that I would know the cardinal rule of man - men cheat. It doesn't matter whether they are red, green, amber or bloody rainbow lighted, they cheat, in some form or another. Whether they're girlfriends/wives live on the other side of the world, in Kent, in Llanelli or in the same house as them, there will always be some physical or mental form of betrayal taking place within a partnership. More recently I've heard more and more stories of boyfriends and husbands being unable to keep their cocks in their pants. I will give you an example of an acquaintance of mine who, whilst his girlfriend lives about two hours away in University, he whenever out with 'the boys', feels the need to pull any minger with a pulse, just to get his end away and what I can only presume as guilt, takes her on luxurious holidays, thinking she has the most amazing boyfriend ever and everyone else knowing differently. It's infuriating.
On the other hand do you all remember Mr Red Light (http://sexinthesocalledcity.blogspot.com/2010/05/when-man-loves-woman.html), well after not speaking to him since graduating from University (mainly because getting off with an engaged man riddled me with guilt), I had a little phone call at 3AM, I had been awake researching an article that was due and groggily answered a very drunk Red Lighted man, who went on to tell me that my invitation to his wedding was in the post and he wanted me to be his last shag before saying his vows, safe to say I wont be donning my Karen Millen dress and Jimmy Choos for that wedding!
Trust is the basis of any relationship and without it, that relationship is headed for the scrap heap, I just hope I can find it within myself to find a man worthy of my trust!
