Body Image

is something that you have to feel confidant about when being single, if you dont feel confidant about yourself that comes across within your body language and that's the biggest turn off ever, or so I've been told! A single man once told me "if your on the circuit, you have to stay fit", so although I am very confidant, I think it's time to shape up or ship out, Uni's over and so I must cut back on the old cocktails, this saddens me greatly! I've had the best of times with a Mojito in my hand and a man on my arm :D So in time for christmas I plan to dust off the old gym kit and go for some early morning runs, which although sounds painful is a must in time for some christmas cocktail antics! Also Im going to see that how my love life's affected by my lack of curves, keep posted for an update.

This article got me thinking about general perceptions of the female physique, we all know that fat is not fab, the dreaded orange peel is not a turn on and the muffin top is just plain wrong. On the flip side, having your rib cage jutting out and hip bones as sharp as blades oh and the dreaded "flat arse" is also just plain wrong. So where does the happy medium lie, I have a fantastic rack, legs like a horse and I love my bum, it's just the bits in between I would like to improve on I hate my tummy and arms so I do wonder are they the bits everyone else notices?!

At the end of the day it comes down what we wear we all know that you have to have the physique of a pubescent boy to get into the designer gear and I refuse to take up a "pill" addiction to maintain that. So are the designers to blame or the over photoshopped magazines? I found an interesting article that argues this:

TV Guide

So one aspect of being single is the amount of free time you have, I have used this spare time to start living my life, instead of wasting time dreaming of what I could be. I have finally put my life into perspective and it's amazing. So on the nights when I'm not working, my friends are busy, The blogs updated, I'm not getting ready for a date or have bought the whole of ASOS's warehouse, I like to watch TV. I completely gave up on the box whilst in uni, I was far too busy having a life and oh sex! I used to catch up on the essentials online if I had a spare hour or so, but being home and far away from some of my friends I have made some time for the box and boy was I surprised by what was on offer! British TV has got a lot better of late and boy was I impressed. Channel 4 had This Is England 86, some amazing acting and not to mention the direction by Shane Meadows, some powerful stuff which I highly recommend. BBC has got a couple of gems under their belts this Autumn, Lip Service has been fantastic, only the second episode in and I'm hooked and it's also made me want to move to Edinburgh. Then there's Single Father, which has none other than the old Doctor Who, David Tennant as it's lead male, very emotional series but absolutely love it. ITV has let me down with the old drama, I had to settle for The Only Way is Essex, which is a shittier version of The Hills and set in Essex, with actors that are idiot's (one thought an elephant was a rhino!). Then there's the X Factor which is good for a number of reasons, the first being Simon Cowell, my SBS (shag but shouldn't), the second being Cheryl Cole, she's awesome and then there's the sing along with the TV :D So yes, thats my TV guide for Autumn. Tune in, you might surprise yourself.

Catch Up

What happened to the days of romance? In the last month two men have sent me pictures of their penis's, now don't get me wrong it was in context to what was happening with the men in question, but I can only imagine what the next year has in store for me as a single lady! To start gents, when it comes to this whole sexting/skype thing, don't engage a lady onto a skype video conversation and just be there wanking, it's just plain rude! Start off fully clothed and build up to it. Also it helps when you engage in a conversation that doesn't involve sex! Thats my top tip of the day anyway!

So yes single life is coming along wonderfully, ive certainly had some fun and also met some very cool dudes. I am planning my next plan of attack on the dating world, internet dating :D how fun. I shall update you on all that jazz xx

The beginning of an end

Friends their funny things aren't they. They are the family you choose and good ones stick around for a lifetime. It's amazing that even when you argue and don't speak for years, You'll meet up and fall back into your friendship like nothing ever happened. In my instance a man was the cause and I cant believe I let it happen, now that she's back in my life she's leaving and I cant even believe that it took for her to leave for us to meet up again. I'm glad my home girl is well, back on my side and I cant wait to visit her but am so sad that I missed out on three years of friendship over a man. I guess what I'm trying to get at is cherish the people around you because tomorrow they might be dead or emigrating or something that takes them out of your life. Lots of Love to the people in my life that I love the most xxx

Update

O.K. so im going through somewhat of a dry spell, it's been eight weeks, let me add eight long weeks since I've had some explicit action. I've had a couple of kisses two bum feels and a brush of something hard, but apart from that, nada. Desperate times call for desperate measures, my right hand lady, Mr Green Light and myself hit up swansea on Sunday and again we'll be going again on Wednesday as it's the right hand ladies birthday celebrations. Sunday was such a good night, 8 cocktails, a purple rain pitcher and a fantastic gossip later I was in a fantastic mood :) Although the kiss from the other week has played on my mind, when we met up it was all gravy and me and the RHL met all of Mr Green Light's work friends which was cool.
